Teslas welcome. Cut from a pattern, not by eye.
01 / why ceramic
Ceramic is the DMV heat upgrade: less infrared warmth, with the same shade choices and a clear view.
recommended for daily driversRejects the infrared warmth you feel and helps the cabin cool faster.
Stays optically clear without adding haze or headlight bloom.
Metal-free film leaves phones, GPS, toll tags and keyless entry alone.
ceramic performance at a glance
Both films block UV. Ceramic earns the upgrade through stronger heat and infrared rejection. Exact performance varies by shade.
02 / carbon or ceramic
Carbon is the clean baseline. Ceramic is the heat-control upgrade for DMV summers.
Two-stage cleaning and the lifetime film warranty are included. Old-film removal is available and quoted separately. Teslas, trucks and vans need a photo for an accurate quote.
03 / visualize tint
Five clear side-profile views: no added film, then nominal 50%, 35%, 20%, and 5% ceramic VLT.
35% / balanced ceramic
35% balances cabin visibility and daytime privacy.
Visual guide only. Factory glass, lighting, and interior color affect the final appearance and measured VLT.
dc md va / shade guide
Tint is measured in VLT, the percent of light the glass lets through. Higher number, lighter film. Pick your body style and read the row.

Rules change and enforcement varies, so confirm the current rule with your state DMV.
AS-1 means the short strip already marked near the top of the windshield. On an SUV, van or truck, Maryland and Virginia set no VLT minimum behind the driver. The District is different: its separate mini-van rule is 55% in front and 35% behind; other vehicles, including SUVs, stay at 70% in front and 50% behind. Virginia also caps reflectivity at 20%.
We install the shade you ask for.
You get told where the line is, once, then the film gets cut to what you asked for. Your car, your call.
real work / straight from the phone
No staged shoot and no AI polish. These are real phone photos from the work bay and customer handoff, so you see the glass the way customers do.
Cropped only for privacy and clean framing.

open 24/7The glass is cleaned twice. Film is plotter cut and heat shrunk to the glass.
1 to 3 hoursLeave the windows up while the film cures. A little haze is normal.

Yes, past a point. Anything under 20 cuts what you can see at night, most of all in rain and on unlit roads. Ceramic keeps more clarity than the cheap film you pulled off at the same number, but physics is physics. If you drive a lot after dark, 35 is the shade most people stay happy with.

1 to 3 hours for most cars. A few take longer. A 10th gen Honda Civic hatchback or a 10th gen Accord needs the rear wing dismantled before the back glass can be cut, which adds about an hour. Windshields and Tesla rear glass are one big curve and get shrunk by hand, so those run long too.
Open 24/7. Overnight drop-off is available, so you can leave the car after work and pick it up in the morning. Text first and you get a time.
Wait 3 to 5 days. Some haze and a few small water pockets are normal while it cures. They clear on their own.
No. There is no metal in carbon or ceramic film, so nothing blocks signal. Old metallic films did that. Those do not get installed here.
Yes. Old-film removal is available and quoted separately based on the glass and condition of the existing film.
Lifetime, on carbon and on ceramic, against bubbling, peeling and turning purple. If the film fails, it gets redone.
